For those following along with the Delta Pre-Proposal, focused on on chain governance, decentralization, and public goods funding, and important milestone was achieved this week...
This pre-proposal has now graduated to actual proposals in the form of Draft LIPs. See:
[LIP-91](https://github.com/livepeer/LIPs/blob/master/LIPs/LIP-91.md) A bundle which proposes the creation of the onchain Livepeer treasury governed by the community.
[LIP-92](https://github.com/livepeer/LIPs/blob/master/LIPs/LIP-92.md) An LIP which proposes how the treasury can get populated via the protocol.
Discussion for these two proposals should be broken out and can now move to these two forum threads.
[LIP-91 discussion](https://forum.livepeer.org/t/lip-livepeer-treasury-bundle-discussion-thread/2115)
[LIP-92 discussion](https://forum.livepeer.org/t/lip-treasury-contribution-percentage-discussion-thread/2116)
More to come in terms of wider communications around this following community input and discussion on the LIPs, but it's worth highlighting that I see this as a transformative moment for Livepeer. An onchain treasury available for funding public goods that benefits the whole ecosystem is a big unlock for growing not just the supply-side orchestrator community, which are already naturally incentivized by the protocol incentives, but also thriving video builder community helping to build the future of open video infrastructure and software, and innovative applications built on top.
